Patricia F. D'Ascoli, Publisher

                              Patricia D'Ascoli is an award-winning journalist whose work has published in   
                               a variety of newspapers and magazines, including Connecticut Magazine, the      
                               News-Times, the Greater New Milford Spectrum, Republican American, and        
                               Hersam Acorn Newspapers.  She is the author of three essay collections:
                              Picture
This: Photo Inspired Reflections; Diary of a Mediocre Mom: Why I
                              Hate Water Parks and Other Mid-Life Musings;
and Home Is Where the
                              Humor Is.  
Her essays have appeared in a number of anthologies, most recently
                              Christmas
Traditions: True Stories that Celebrate the Spirit of the Season         
                              (2009) and Voices of  Bi-Polar Disorder (2010).         

                              Patricia is a member of the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association,
                              the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council and the Housatonic Valley Cultural
                              Alliance.  On behalf of Connecticut Muse she has been the recipient of grants
                              from the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism, the Northwest
                              Connecticut Community Foundation and the Hartford Foundation for Public
                              Giving.  In 2007, she published the Directory of Connecticut Authors &
                              Literary Venues.

                              Patricia is currently pursuing her Master's in English education at Southern
                              CT State University in New Haven, CT.
