Julian Padowicz: Author of the memoirs A Ship in the Harbor and Mother and Me: Escape from Warsaw 1939. He was born in Lodz, Poland and escaped from Soviet occupation during WW II at the age of eight with his mother, crossing the Carpathian Mountains on foot. Spent 35 years as a documentary filmmaker. MOLLIE OSTROSKI Gwen Reiss is a poet and freelance writer on architecture and preservation whose work has appeared in Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, The New York Times and Preservation Magazine. She has just published a children’s book, The Winter Lodge, illustrated by David North. GWEN REISS Mark Saba: Mark's novella, Thaddeus Olsen, was published in an anthology called Desperate Remedies by Apis Books (UK, 2008). He us the author of The Landscapes of Pater and has been published in numerous literary magazines and anthologies. MARK SABA John Benjamin Sciarra is the recipient of the “Parent to Parent Adding Wisdom Award.” He is the author of Shoestrings—No Time For Dinosaur and Beachmaster. CAROLE SHMURAK Jeffrey Stephens is an attorney whose practice includes civil and criminal courtroom experience. He lives in Greenwich and is the author of The Portofino Deception, a fast-paced thriller that moves from one suspenseful action scene to the next in a contemporary story of the real and present perils of the modern world. JEFFREY STEPHENS Jacquelyn Thunfors is the author of Paint Your Life. She will be doing a two week program for the Chinese Government Yangpu Cultural Center regarding this new interlocking sequential game system that enables professionals and amateurs to achieve totally innovative and original work. Jessica Treat: Author of three story collections, Not a Chance, A Robber in the House, and Meat Eaters & Plant Eaters (BOA Ed, 2009). Her stories, essays, prose poems, and translations have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. She is the recipient of a CT Commission on the Arts Award in fiction and Professor of English at Northwestern CT Community College where she coordinates the annual Mad River Literary Festival. JESSICA TREAT Raymond Uzanas: After his wife lost her battle with cancer, Ray began a journey of self discovery, renewal, and adventure where he came to accept his but experienced the challenges and joys of traveling around the lower 48 states. He wrote Odyssey of a Wayward Traveler following his journey. RAYMOND UZANAS Elaine Violette: Author of Regal Reward, Finalist New Jersey Romance Writers' Golden Leaf Awards, published in ebook format and print. She is working on two other Regencies and writing a collection of children's short stories.
