Jane Gordon
is a longtime journalist whose work appears frequently in The New York Times, and has been published in
      newspapers nationwide. Juggling four children, freelance writing work and a full-time job as a writer for a university
      communications department, she is at work on her first book.

      Celestino Heres author of The Reluctant Revoluionary is a retired professor of computer systems at UConn Stamford
      and Norwalk Community Technical College.  He teaches at Brien McMahon High School.

      He has presented workshops around the country as an educator, behavioral therapist, and teacher with over 20 years in the

      Suzy Kline:  An elementary school teacher for 24 years at Southwest School in Torrington, Suzy took early retirement in
      2000, and lives in Willington with her husband Rufus.  They have two daughters, Emily and Jennifer, and four
      grandchildren.

      Chris Knopf :  His latest book is Short Squeeze.  Chris is a principal of Mintz & Hoke Communications Group in Avon,
      CT.  A native of Philadelphia, educated in the U.S. and London, Chris lives with his wife Mary Farrell and Wheaten
      Terrier Sam in Avon and Southampton, Long Island where he writes on the front porch.

      Janet Krauss: Author of Borrowed Scenery, Yuganta Press, 2005.  Janet Krauss is a widely published poet and adjunct
      professor of English at St. Basil College and Fairfield U. She is the recipient of the Fairfield Adjunct Award of the Year,    
      and was twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize in poetry.  She enjoys giving readings of her work.

      Ann Sample Lineberger:  Author of New Spaces, Old World Charm.  A journalist who is formally trained as an interior
      designer, Sample has been writing about architecture and interior design since the late 1990s.  She is a contributing editor
      and Antiques columnist or Connecticut Cottages & Gardens.

      Connie Magnan-Albrizio: Author of Lion's Tooth, a poetry collection.  Connie is a retired successful business owner
      who also served in academia.  She is currently working on publishing two novels and a play co-authored with her
      journalist/photographer/ poet daughter Eileen.    

      Jan Mann: Author of Cruising CT with a Picnic Basket - Jan's long-time passion for day tripping has propelled her
      throughout the state to discover all the exciting attractions it has to offer. After many years of designing special outings for
      friends and family, she decided to embark on the adventure of writing a day tripping book.

An Astonishment and an Hissing). He received the CT Center for the Book’s Lifetime Achievement Award.  

      Linda Merlino is the author of Belly of the Whale, a riveting story that centers on a woman who longs for release from    
      the breast cancer that is destroying her, only to realize that life is very much worth living when she is taken hostage by an
      angry young man planning murder.  Merlino is honored that many breast cancer survivors and their support groups are
      recommending the novel.
